New Features - Sub folders, Small UI Changes & Enhancements

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

1. File Sub-Folders - Add a folder as well as a sub-folder to categorize your uploaded files.

2. Editing Messages - Easily create a message and then edit its content. Up until now, messages could only be created and deleted. This is a small feature that we had left out when creating the Messages functionality. Its live now!

3. Display Project Lead - The Project Listing page will display the name of the project lead. This saves you a click!

4. Remove Completed Tasks - One-click deletion of all completed tasks for a particular Task List. No need to remove each completed task individually.

5. Limited Users - Your clients/limited users will not see the word “Limited” anywhere on the interface. We received feedback that Super Users were uncomfortable with their Limited Users (these could be executives, remote consultants or clients) seeing the word “Limited” when they logged in. We have changed this now. Limited Users will see the word “User” on their UI. The permission of the Limited User still stays the same.

6. Page Titles - Easily bookmark DeskAway pages and have a meaningful page title show up in your bookmarks list. So, lets say you bookmarked the Reports page of a project “Brightpeak Client Project”. The saved bookmark would look like:

“yourcompanyname.deskaway.com - Brightpeak Client Project - Reports”

This is especially helpful when you have multiple DeskAway accounts and you are bookmarking things around.
