Looking for an easy-to-use online project management software option? check out DeskAway. To my surprise, DeskAway is very simple to understand and implement.
If you are like me, you have a to-do list for your to-do list. Not to mention at least ten sticky notes on your desk at any given time. You are working on multiple projects at the same time, constantly emailing co-workers for updates, and frantically trying to meet a deadline. As much as I like to be organized, usually I’m not.

Susan Fletcher, Ph.D. of Fletcher & Associates Psychological Services, P.A. discovers that DeskAway keeps you in your “smart zone”.
From the Smart Zone blog >>
If I have discovered a new tool to keep you in your Smart Zone, wouldn’t you want to know about it? Well, my Vistage CEO group introduced me to something that is going to help us manage daily tasks in our office and I am finding myself telling everyone. It is called, DeskAway, and you can learn more about it at www.DeskAway.com. It is a web based application that you can use free for a few projects and a few users. It is a way to have a dashboard for your team where the status of tasks is centralized. One of the best things is that it eliminates those ongoing run on emails that get sent back and forth as you are working on proposals, letters, and other documents that require the input and activities of more than one person. I am looking forward to all the projects we have that can be managed using DeskAway. Try it and let us know whether or not it is keeping you in your Smart Zone.

We are excited that we are working in the right direction. Its inevitable that with the deeper penetration of broadband, more people collaboration online, distributed teams, 24×7 work culture, tools that are simple, secure and well integrated are going to survive this trend. The Asian/Indian market is pretty new to SaaS and it will be very interesting to see how this industry shapes up - will it follow what happened/happening in the West or will it take its own turn?

Just like Tasks, individual Task Lists within projects can now be re-ordered easily. Follow these simple steps to re-order Task Lists within a project:
1. Goto the Task page by clicking on the Tasks link
2. Provided you have more than 1 Task List, click on the link on the right which says “Re-order Task Lists”. This will take you to a new page.
3. Drag Task Lists to change their ordering.
4. Once done, click on “Save This Task List Order”
5. Go back to the Task page to see your new Task List order

Today, we uploaded a revamped version of our website. If you noticed, a major overhaul has been made to the navigation with tabs that look like the tabs we have inside the application. A few of the less clicked links have been moved to the top and only the major links have been given priority on the tabs.
There were other few cosmetic changes that we made - basically, using more of the bluish tones…
Thanks to everyone who gave us feedback on our old site.

Due to some technical issues we have separated out ‘opening of tasks’ and ‘re-ordering of tasks’.
By clicking on the ‘SWITCH…” link, you can toggle between both modes.
Task Edit Mode - You will be allowed to click on the name of the task and access various functions within e.g. view details, add time, edit a task etc. :

Task Re-order Mode - You will be allowed to drag and re-order tasks:

The task deadline is now being displayed next to every task.
