“Where Dominating Google Is Like Riding A Bike”
We are a “done for you” SEO service that specializes in getting high rankings for local offline businesses. Our service includes link building, social media marketing, and content generation.
How are you using DeskAway and what value is it providing your team?
We use DeskAway to organize and assign project tasks to our team in the Philippines. Now everyone always knows exactly what they should be working on in order to keep the business growing.
Were you using any other tool before DeskAway?
Before using DeskAway.com it was a nightmare for us to manage everything on paper. We were constantly creating new spreadsheets that just weren’t working.
Was there a learning curve associated with DeskAway? How did your team adapt to a new application?
It did take a few days to get comfortable with the software. But we persevered through that and now we are like a well oiled machine.
What features does your team use the most?
Being able to upload and download files from a designated area within each project is huge for us. Also it’s very nice to be able to login and immediately see whats been assigned, what of that is completed, and what hasn’t been completed.
Are you emailing (sending tasks, attachments etc.) less because of DeskAway? How has DeskAway helped in lowering project costs, profitability or improving efficiency?
Sometimes 2-3 days can go by and I haven’t talked to a single employee but the work was getting done! We went from being able to get 2 full projects done per day to now getting 4 projects done per day. So DeskAway has doubled our efficiency!
Are there any other thoughts that you would want to share with us regarding our service, product etc.?
DeskAway is a must have for any Internet based business and should even be highly considered for offline businesses. When we talk to people about our business the first thing they ask is how we are able to run everything so smoothly - We tell them it’s all about DeskAway!
Thanks for your great software!

1. My Tasks - Right from your Dashboard you can now see and close all tasks that you are responsible for. Plus, you can also see tasks that you have delegated out. We thought we’d make this more user-friendly and simple. Impress your team. Meet your deadlines more efficiently!

2. Project History - Get real-time updates on all your project from the last 30 days. Every team member in your project can now keep up with whats happening within the project. Project History is permission-based. You (or anyone else) will not see stuff that is not shared or accessible by you.

4. Task Completed Date - Easily see when a particular task was completed.

Unfortunately, they don’t hire Internet marketing folks. Otherwise we would all be in for a treat. What you find are Analysts. Oh well, DeskAway is hiring people who are really really passionate about Internet marketing and can drive seo, sem, socia media etc. with our current team. If you or anyone else is interested, then do drop us a line from the contact form with some samples of your work etc. Anything that’s going to excite us!
People are telling me that this is the best time to hire since the salaries have gone down and there are a lot of people who are looking to join innovative and stable companies. Lets hope this proves to be true!

After you spend most of your time online its crucial to break away for a week or so and take a mini vacation someplace quite and serene. So, fortunately that’s what I could do last month - off to Bali, Indonesia. Though, I must confess that I could not leave behind my MacBook and Blackberry. I still needed to be in touch with my team back in Mumbai and see how things are going with DeskAway. Well, what I loved most was to sit on the beach, look at the blue sea and send off some mails…
One of the experiences I wanted to share with all of you is of the customer service my wife and I received at this high-end restaurant in Ubud called Mosaic. Sure, all high-end restaurants have superior customer service but this one was different. I have never experienced such spectacular level of customer service and attention to detail. Amongst many things one thing that jumped out was the fact that the chef took special care in creating a special vegetarian set menu for my wife having only a 2 hour notice before the place becomes packed. After our meal, he made sure he and the 2 other people came back to ask us how everything was. What got me was the fact that he and his team cared. They were passionate about what they were doing and how that would have an impact on their clients. They wanted everyone to feel special and leave with being completely satisfied. Even the guards outside were hospitable.
I don’t think I will be going to Bali again for a while (probably explore other places), but I am sure to tell folks I know about this restaurant cause they made a lasting impression on me. Isn’t that the best form of marketing anyone can get?
As positive experiences shape us, they sure do have a positive impact on the businesses we work in also! Hopefully, at DeskAway, we can serve you even better now.
