1. What is FreshBooks?
FreshBooks is an application to track and invoice your clients. You can get more information on FreshBooks by visiting www.freshbooks.com.

By setting up FreshBooks integration you can easily map your DeskAway projects to your FreshBooks projects and log time within each project that also get stored within your FreshBooks account.

2. Is the FreshBooks integration available for the Free plan?
Yes, all plans can take advantage of the FreshBooks integration.

3. What can I do when FreshBooks is integrated?
When you enable FreshBooks integration you will be able to easily map your DeskAway projects to your FreshBooks projects. Time logged within a DeskAway project (from Time sheets) can also be sent to your FreshBooks project thereby keeping time logs synchronized between both your accounts.

4. How do I map my DeskAway projects to my FreshBooks projects?
When you setup FreshBooks integration, you will see a list of all your FreshBooks projects when you add or edit a DeskAway project.

5. How can I setup the FreshBooks integration?
1. Login to your FreshBooks account and goto My Account (on the top right corner).
2. Click on FreshBooks API and then enable your FreshBooks API
3 Copy this API URL and Authentication Token
4. Now Login into your DeskAway Account Go to Settings-> FreshBooks and click on Enable FreshBooks Integration. Paste the API URL and Authentication Token here. Your integration should be set and you should see a success message.
5. Edit any project and choose the FreshBooks Project to map to.
6. Go to the Time sheet page of that project and start logging time to FreshBooks.

6. Who can set the FreshBooks integration?
Only the DeskAway Account Owner can setup the FreshBooks Integration.

7. Which sections can be integrated with my FreshBooks Projects?
Currently you can only log time from your DeskAway project to your FreshBooks project.

8. I updated the time from the task and issue section. Will it reflect on my FreshBooks account?
No. Time that is added and updated only from the timesheet section will be updated to your FreshBooks account.

9. If I removed a time entry in DeskAway will it remove the same entry in FreshBooks?
No. Time entry removed from your DeskAway project will not be removed from your FreshBooks project. You will have to remove it manually from your FreshBooks account.

10. I cannot see a list of my FreshBooks project on the add/edit project page in DeskAway. Am I missing something?
There are two possibilities:
1. Your FreshBooks account does not have any projects. Please add a project and see if it shows up.
2. If the projects don't show up then most probably your FreshBooks API Token has changed. Please disable and enable the integration again.

11. I cannot see a list of my FreshBooks tasks on the Time Sheet page in a DeskAway project. Am I missing something?
Time logs in FreshBooks are mapped to Projects and Tasks. Hence, you would need to add Tasks within your FreshBooks project. Login to your FreshBooks account, click on 'Time Tracking' and then 'Tasks'.

12. I integrated FreshBooks recently and everything worked well. Today, I cannot see my projects or FreshBooks tasks within DeskAway?
There are a couple of things you can check:
1. Make sure your FreshBooks account is active.
2. Have you changed your account password? If so, you would need to setup the FreshBooks integration again by following the steps here. Your authentication token is based on your account password. If your password changes, so will your authentication token.
