1. What is the Google Apps™ Marketplace?
The Google Apps™ Marketplace offers products and services designed for Google users, including installable apps that integrate directly with Google Apps™. Installable apps are easy to use because they include single sign-on, Google's universal navigation, and some even include features that integrate with your domain's data.

Read here for more information.

2. How does it work?
When you signup for DeskAway from the Apps Marketplace, you will see a link called 'DeskAway' under the universal navigation bar. Clicking on this link will directly take you to your DeskAway account. You don't need to login again to DeskAway.

3. What benefit do I get to add DeskAway to my Google Apps™ account?
You use Google Apps™ for email, docs, calendar and contacts. Why not add project management to this mix so that you can access your projects without logging into a seperate application again. We have added powerful functionality to access your docs and spreadsheets within DeskAway. So, imagine you have a doc in Google Docs that you want to link up to message within DeskAway - this will be possible if you have added DeskAway to your Google Apps™ account.

4. Ok, so how do I integrate if I am an existing DeskAway user?
It is simple. Follow the following steps to get your existing DeskAway account integrated within your Google Apps™ account.

5. How do I integrate if I am new to DeskAway?
Follow these steps:

6. Will all my current Google Apps™ users be able to access DeskAway?
If you have created a new account then we will ask you which users should get access to DeskAway. If you have mapped an existing DeskAway account, then only the active users whose email id's match that of your domain name and are active in your DeskAway account will be able to access their accounts.

7. How do I remove DeskAway from my Google Apps™ account?
Removing the Google Apps integration will NOT delete any data within your DeskAway account. Please follow these steps:
1. Login to your google apps™ account.
2. Click on the " Manage this domain " link at the top right side.
3. Click on the "DeskAway" link on the Dashboard page of the google account.
4. Scroll down the page and delete this application by clicking in the "Delete DeskAway" link on the DeskAway settings page.
5. Now confirm the delete process by clicking on the "Delete this service" button.

You can still access your DeskAway account by going to your account address e.g. http://something.deskaway.com

8. We had removed our integration with DeskAway and now want to map our existing account again. It keeps giving us an error. What should we do?
If this is the case, please contact us at and we will look into this issue.

9. Why am I getting the email mismatch error message in Google Apps integration?
To integrate your DeskAway account with your Google Apps account you need to have the same email address in both of your DeskAway & Google Apps accounts. In case you haven't done so, please follow these steps:
1. Login to your DeskAway account.
2. Click on 'My Account' > 'My Profile' on the top right corner.
3. Update your email address and instead enter your Google Apps email address.
4. Click 'Update Profile'.

Now, try to integrate your Google Apps account with DeskAway again.

10. What do I need to keep in mind while integration my existing DeskAway account to Google Apps?
In order to successfully integrate your Google Apps account to DeskAway please keep the following things in mind:
1. The email id in your DeskAway account should match that of your Google Apps email. Learn more on how to update your email id within your DeskAway account.
2. Your DeskAway account is active.
3. You are an active user within your DeskAway account.

11. I have setup the Google Apps integration but some of my team members are getting an error when they choose 'DeskAway' from the Google navigation bar. What do I do?
This is probably happening because:
1. the email id within their DeskAway account does not match that of their Google Apps email. They would need to update their email id within their DeskAway account.
2. they are not added to your DeskAway account. You would need to add them as users within your DeskAway account with the same email id as their Google Apps account.

12. I am trying to integrate DeskAway but I keep getting a message which says "Application already installed". But, somehow it doesn't show up in Google's drop-down navigation bar. What do I do now?
Your integration is probably not complete. Please follow these steps to get this working.

If this still does not work then please follow point #7
