Hello there!
Welcome to this months edition of the DeskAway newsletter. As the summer and the heat set in, we have started to design and prototype some cool new features for release in the next few months.
After being inspired by the book 'Mavericks at Work', we thought about our purpose and the value we are providing to everyone using DeskAway. In a nutshell, its about helping create a system at work - something that is dependable, predictable and offers transparency and clarity. A system that can be adopted by everyone in the team to eliminate guesswork that accompanies multiple people and projects. Questions like 'who is doing this thing', 'did the client like it' or 'oh, we thought that the updated copy of the report was already sent to the client' etc. Why do you think product companies are able to scale up so easily? They have built internal systems (including the machinery) that churn out predictable results and reports every day. Our purpose is to provide this level of predictability to anyone working on multiple projects!
As always, thanks for your support and good luck with organizing, managing and tracking your projects with DeskAway! You are on your way to create a system-driven workplace!
Best,
Sahil Parikh

"Product is great, user friendly, FAQ's are self-explanatory, and the service is exceptional!"
Rajan Nanda, Hotel Pali Hills,
DeskAway Plus Plan
After having used manual methods of project management (spreadsheets and email) Rajan's team adopted DeskAway. They are using DeskAway to manage maintenance tasks for various teams, to store versions of important files in a central location and as an efficient and effective tool for inter-office communications.
Rajan's team finds creating milestones and the various reporting charts extremely useful for their project and team success. Besides, the learning curve associated with introducing a new tool in the organization was minimal. DeskAway is the right blend of simplicity, features and cost.
Explore ways in which you can take advantage of all the powerful features of DeskAway. |

Whats the secret of getting more things done in less time? Focus and don't let any external factors disturb you or your team. I like to call it 'Selfish Time'. No phones, emails or sms's for a few hours of the day. For every distraction, industry experts say it takes about 20 minutes to get back to work! Calculate that on a daily basis for everyone in your team and thats a lot of time wasted! |
