Welcome!

Hello there!

Welcome to the second issue of the newsletter this year! We are getting a bunch of features (Issue Tracking, more Reporting) done by first week March. If anyone wants to try out new features before it goes live, do let us know and we'd be happy to send you an invite. This will give you a sneak preview of "whats to come" before we take it live. Shoot us an email at support@deskaway.com with the subject being "Sign me up in your Beta Program".

As always, thanks for your support and good luck with organizing, managing and tracking your projects with DeskAway!

Best,
Sahil Parikh

''I love the tool and will continue to use it!''

As a member of a virtual team that is a mix of members from inside and outside our company, it was imperative that all details of the project could be posted for everyone involved to review and update as necessary - even if they did not have access to the organizational Intranet and software.

They did not have any system prevalent to manage this, and inititally after adopting DeskAway, the initial attempts were met with some resistance internally. However, they felt that DeskAway's continued improvement and streamlined efforts, along with fast response times and better user interface, have kept it the product of choice.

Nina's team finds the 'Docs' section, with the posting of documents for common review, the most useful feature. More importantly, Nina feels that having all her work in a central location and being less dependent on email is the leading contribution that DeskAway brings to the working team.

Working in Teams - Best Practice #1

Even in life, we tend to pay attention to the larger things (how much will I make, when I retire or what will my company look like 5 years from now?). This is not bad, but it's the little steps that you take today that will help you achieve your dream for tomorrow. Are you monitoring these small steps?

This is exactly the case with simple and small tasks that come your way everyday when working on your projects - they are the building blocks but ironically they have a tendency to slip through the cracks. Monitor these on a daily and weekly basis and see your productivity soar. It's the 'feel good' feeling that we want to strive for everyday!
