DeskAway is hosted in a world-class secure server environment (hosted and professionally managed by Rackspace, a recognized leader in high-end hosting) that uses a dedicated firewall to prevent interference with outside intruders. We backup data daily to our off-site servers so you can be assured that nothing will be lost! We are 100% committed to security and investing in the best technology and infrastructure.
On the application level, DeskAway provide each user a unique username and password that is immediately encrypted when you sign up. Everything within DeskAway is permission based - there are 3 types of users (Super, Regular, Limited) and 3 types of permission levels for projects, tasks, files, events, milestones (Public, Private, Shared).
For example,
a. Nancy, who is a consultant could be a Limited User and would only see 2 out of the 15 projects you have.
